To prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, in 2019 on Olympic Day (June 23rd), we created a suspended installation called “Young Area” that combined many newly approved Olympic sports such as skateboarding, surfing, karate, sport climbing, baseball, and softball. From skateboarding to surfing, and from mountain climbing to karate, people were able to explore their maximum athletic potential. Additionally, through a series of viral videos online, online sales skyrocketed which created a trend for these newly approved Olympic sports.
